Greg Valente reaches singles final at UC Davis Aggie Invitational

DAVIS, Calif. – Nevada Men’s Tennis traveled over the pass this past weekend to compete at the UC Davis Aggie Invitational. Greg Valente was the Wolf Pack’s top performer over the weekend, picking up three singles victories in the White Flight to reach Sunday’s final. Unfortunately, Valente was unable to compete in Sunday’s final due to injury. His path to the final began with a 6-3, 6-0 victory Friday over Menlo College’s Zalan Savay. Saturday, Valente went 2-for-2 against opponents from Sacramento State, first downing Yoah Levy 6-3, 6-4 then beating Doni Gashi 6-4, 6-4 to reach the final. Sebastiano…
