Conroy Named GLVC Defensive Player of the Week

Rockhurst senior defender Quinn Conroy has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference/Athletic Solutions Defensive Player of the Week in women’s soccer, the league office announced Monday (Sept. 28). Conroy helped lead the Hawks to a perfect 2-0 week in GLVC play, earning a 2-1 victory over Lincoln before closing the week with a 3-0 road win over Upper Iowa. The St. Louis, Missouri, native played 148 total minutes across the two victories and helped anchor a Rockhurst defense that allowed just one goal on the week and three total shots.
