Wildcats, Marauders battle to 1-1 tie
Wayne State and the University of Mary battled to a 1-1 tie in Northern Sun Conference women's soccer Sunday afternoon at the WSC Soccer Pitch. WSC is now 4-5-2 and 3-3-2 in the league while UMary sports records of 6-2-3 on the season and 5-1-2 in NSIC play. The visiting Marauders held a sizeable 8-1 advantage in shots during the first half with Wildcat goalkeeper Alexa Hofstetter making several outstanding saves while finishing the half with four.
