Injured Ellis scores as U.S. blanks Canada in men’s soccer friendly

A goal from Justin Ellis lifted the United States to a 1-0 decision over Canada’s men’s soccer team in a friendly matchup in St. Paul, Minn., on Tuesday. The teenage forward picked up an ankle injury midway through the first half but stayed in the game and tucked in a shot in the 29th minute to give the Americans the lead.
