Comeback Season: 2026-27 Cornell Wrestling Season Outlook

ITHACA, N.Y. — Cornell wrestling begins its 2026-27 season Sunday with 10 eager freshmen, a veteran core ready for more, and a team goal head coach Mike Grey can sum up in one word. “Comeback,” Grey said. “We’re coming back to the standard that we’ve become accustomed to.” Grey, entering his sixth season at the helm of his alma mater, has the pieces to get there.
