Trail running enthusiasts will be excited to know that the epic Valley Vertikiller Trail race is back on this year with various events to challenge even the hardiest trail runners. The events will be on Oct. 9.
Around 3,000 runners have registered to lace up once again across all categories, which is a small number of participants when compared to the previous years’ 10,000 to 12,000. The marathon venue, Fort Garry Campus, would expect approximately 20,000 spectators from nearby locations.
Despite not finishing as strongly as we’d hoped during the 2020-21 season, the Centerville High School boys’ cross-country team still gave an admirable performance. We were runners-up in both the Southwest District and Greater Western Ohio Conference (GWOC) meets.
