Pitt football | Colts take lineman Goncalves at No. 79 overall

Matt Goncalves is headed to Indianapolis. The offensive tackle out of Pitt was selected by the Colts in the third round of the NFL Draft at No. 79 overall. Goncalves, a native of Manorville, New York, spent the past five years at Pitt. He made 13 starts at right tackle and 11 at left tackle during his career with the Panthers. He began the 2023 season at left tackle before suffering a toe injury in a Week 3 game against West Virginia that required surgery and ended his senior season.
