Nighthawks Wrap Up Season at NCAA DII South/Southeast Regional

VALDOSTA, Ga. – The University of North Georgia (UNG) men's golf team closed out its 2026 season Saturday at the NCAA Division II South/Southeast Regional, finishing 16th overall after the final round in Valdosta, Georgia. The Nighthawks posted a team score of 292 in the third round for the second straight day, ending the tournament with a three-round total of 886. Hunter Smith led the Nighthawks in the final round, carding a 3-under 69 to finish the tournament at 2-under 214, good for a top-20 finish individually.
