Hawks Open Conference Play with Road Win at McKendree

LEBANON, Ill – Quincy’s men’s soccer team opened conference play Sunday night, earning a 2-0 road victory over McKendree University. The Hawks wasted little time making their presence felt, finding the back of the net just five minutes into the match. Mathias Bringedal put Quincy on the board after receiving a pass from Josh Nwosu, giving the Hawks an early 1-0 advantage. The quick start set the tone for a Quincy attack that continued to create opportunities throughout the opening half.
