University of Regina Triathlon Club getting in shape for a new season as Coach Brendan Mackenzie takes charge
The University of Regina Triathlon Club joined the Saskatchewan Triathlon family when it was founded in 2017, alongside Swift Current Multisport Club.
Training in each of the events covers beginner to advanced levels so that everyone can fit in and compete. The Club trains athletes from beginner level until they become half and full finishers.

Leanne Taylor caught the attention of the Canadian Olympian Silken Laumann and was hopeful for the Paralympics. Taylor, who is a triple Olympic medallist, fought through physical adversity to achieve her dreams after a rowing accident which resulted in a serious leg injury.
Danielle Fleurima, a recent graduate of Chillicothe High School, is headed to Delaware to be part of their first triathlon team. In May of 2021, Delaware State University announced Danielle would be the first athlete signed to join the team. Fleurima was a 12-letter athlete in cross country, swim and track & field.
