What inspired you to pursue a career in coaching?
“My love and passion for the game and the urge to give back to the game that gave me so much enjoyment through the years.”
What do you look forward to most this year at Wilmington College?
“I look forward to seeing the development of not only our players but our team in general as our program takes the next step.”
How would you like your players to describe you?
“Relatable and approachable.”
Tell me about your favorite coach.
“My favorite coach is intense day in, and day out but also is easy to be around and joke around with. My favorite coach is straight forward and honest with everyone.”
What is it about football that you enjoy the most?
“The atmosphere of brotherhood that comes with being on a team and the challenge that comes with it. Also, the contact.”
What is your football philosophy?
“Football is a game and should always be fun. If you are not having fun playing the game, then it isn’t the game for you. Having fun comes with hard work and winning games.”
How do you define a winning season?
“A winning season in my eyes is determined by growth. If we are a better team by the end of the year than in the beginning, then it’s a major accomplishment.”
