9. Tayvon Nelson, CB, Canarsie

Nelson is considered one of the best cornerbacks in the nation. With a 6-foot-2, 195-pound frame, he can match up with the best. He proved that as a freshman when he had 29 total tackles and one interception. He’s a much-improved player since then, and that play has helped him land at the University of Maryland. Nelson had 15 Division I offers from schools, including Penn State, Pursue, Miami and Syracuse but committed to Maryland on July 23.
