Top 10 Illinois RBs for 2022 IHSA football season
10. Jerry Richardson, Sr., Collinsville
Richardson has starred at Collinsville High School on both sides of the ball. In his junior season, Richardson posted 40 tackles and an interception on defense. However, the 5-foot-10, 180-pound running back is even more dangerous on offense, rushing for 1,342 yards while also catching 20 balls for an additional 396 yards in 2021. He also scored 20 total touchdowns as a Class 7A honorable mention all-state player for an 8-2 Collinsville squad and will look to replicate that success in 2022.
