9. Trystyn Schacht, Sr., Iroquois West
Schacht may be just 5-foot-8, but he is an impressive runner whose powerful and strong 200-pound frame allows him to be dominant. Last season at Iroquois West, the running back’s talent was on full display as he rushed for 1,855 yards while averaging 185.5 yards per contest and an impressive 8.4 yards per carry. Schacht also added 21 touchdowns for the Raiders as an all-conference, all-county and all-state honorable mention player. The senior back will look to build on Iroquois West’s 8-3 record from last season and potentially crack the 2,000-yard rushing mark in 2022.
