Top 10 Florida defensive players for 2022 HS football season
6. Reuben Bain, DL, Miami Central
Bain likely lives in many quarterbacks’ nightmares because the guy can flat-out rush the passer. Last year, the Miami Central defensive end was a terror in the backfield registering 48.5 tackles for loss and 29.5 sacks. Given his strong pass-rushing ability, it came as no surprise the defender earned MaxPreps first-team junior All-American honors and was selected to the site’s preseason All-American first team as well. The 6-foot-2, 250-pound lineman is ranked as the No. 97 overall prospect and No. 10 defensive lineman in the Class of 2023 by 247Sports. He is currently uncommitted.
