Brennan Parachek ready to make an impact at Michigan State

DEXTER, Mich. (BVM) – The Class of 2023 has a plethora of football talent. One of those talented players is Dexter’s Brennan Parachek, who is committed to Michigan State to play football and baseball.

At 6-foot-6, 235 pounds, Parachek’s size will be crucial to his success in the future. And with that size, Parachek will likely find himself playing the position he plays now: tight end. However, Parachek could find himself playing defensive end as well.

“[He] played defensive end for the first time as a junior and showed Division I ability at that position also,” 247 National Recruiting Analyst Allen Trieu said.

To go along with his skill on the gridiron, Parachek can also play baseball and basketball at a high level.

With Paracheck’s athletic abilities, he drew a lot of national attention from programs like Purdue, Syracuse, Arizona State and other DI programs. But he’d eventually choose to stay home and play for the Spartans. Alongside that recruitment process, Parachek’s bond with his teammates remained strong too. Especially with Michigan football commit Cole Cabana.

“We’re trying not to look ahead, [we’re going to] stay where our feet are and be teammates right now,” Parachek said in an interview with Casey Campbell. “Hopefully, there’s a little rivalry later in our lives, but right now, we’re focused on winning championships here.

And this year, Parachek is more motivated than ever to win a championship.

“Last year was a bummer getting hurt,” Parachek said in the interview. “Even though it was a minor injury, it took me out a couple of games, [but] it fueled the fire and I’m ready to go this year.”

For Parachek, it’s clear that winning a championship is a primary goal of his final prep season. But one thing is for sure. Parachek is one of the top high school football players from the Wolverine State, and he’s gearing up for a productive collegiate career in the green and white.
