2011: Notre Dame 45, Maryland 21

Notre Dame put up another multi-score victory in 2011’s contest against Maryland at FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland, home of the Washington Commanders. Rees again shined in this one, going 30-for-38 for 296 yards and two touchdowns, while running back Jonas Gray went for a then-career high 136 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. Eifert and wide receiver Michael Floyd dominated on the receiving end as Notre Dame improved to 7-3 in the second year of the Brian Kelly era.
