After the 2020 season, Harsin left Boise State and signed a six-year, $31.5 million contract with Auburn. As the head coach at Auburn, Harsin has an overall record of 9-9 and has lost one bowl game. Along with a subpar record, he has faced multiple off-the-field issues. So, one could imagine the seat is hot for Harsin.
If Harsin were fired this year without cause, his buyout fee would be around $15 million.
