It would’ve been easy for most of the college football world to think Frost returning to his alma mater signaled a positive change for the college football blue blood. However, the results showed quite the opposite. Frost finished with an overall record of 16-31 and no bowl game appearance before being fired.
When he was fired, Nebraska paid Frost $15 million. However, if Nebraska had waited until Oct. 1, the school would’ve only had to pay him $7.5 million.
