Top 10 Indiana boys basketball players in Class of 2023
8. Zaide Lowery, SG, La Lumiere
Zaide Lowery is one of a couple of players on this list that has transferred from out of state to play at La Lumiere this season. Hailing from Springfield, Missouri, the 6-foot-4, 180-pound shooting guard was a late bloomer to basketball, not taking the sport seriously until just before high school. However, in three seasons at Kickapoo, he quickly developed into a high-upside prospect who is both a strong scorer and solid defender. Last season, Lowery averaged 15.5 points and 7.1 rebounds for the Chiefs, shooting 55% from the field and 38% on 3-pointers. Spending his final high school season at La Lumiere should prepare him for the next level where he will head to Milwaukee to play for Shaka Smart and the Marquette Golden Eagles.
