9. Jessica Pegula ($7.6 million)

A total of $3.6 million of Pegula’s $7.6 million earnings were from on-field accomplishments. Pegula is fresh off of the biggest season of her career; she sits at No. 3 in the WTA rankings (up 15 spots from last season). Following her career-high WTA rankings in singles and doubles at No. 3 in October, she signed with talent agency GSE Worldwide in November to add to her off-field earnings. 

Pegula, who is more famously known as the daughter of the Buffalo Bills owners Terry and Kim Pegula, is trying to make a name for herself in the sports world despite her parents’ $6.7 billion worth. This is her first year in the top 10 of the richest female athletes.  

“[Dad] always pushed me to do better, you can always outwork somebody,” Jessica told the Bills Pod Squad. “Dad and I are like oil and water on the tennis court – it does not mix well.”
