8. Frank Williams
Williams was the key figure for an Illini squad that won back-to-back shares of the Big Ten title from 2001-02. During those two seasons, Williams was named first-team All-Big Ten.
The standout also earned a number of national accolades during those seasons as well as he was named Wooden Award All-America team honorable mention in 2002, a Wooden Award All-America team member in 2001 and the Big Ten Player of the Year in 2001 as well. His 1,440 career points rank 20th on the Illini scoring list with 1,440 points while his 432 assists rank 10th and his 212 steals rank fourth.
