ATLANTA (BVM) – Georgia has staked its claim as one of the top high school football states in the country following its recent run at producing top quarterback recruits. Although the state has become a hotbed for the position as of late, the talent has come from across the board over the past two decades.
The order of this list is determined by 247Sports’ Composite Rating – “a proprietary algorithm that compiles prospect ‘rankings’ and ‘ratings’ listed in the public domain by the major media recruiting services. It converts average industry ranks and ratings into a linear composite index capping at 1.0000.”
With only five players ever reaching the perfect 1.0000 rating, one player from the state happens to have achieved the historic mark.
