5. Trae Young, Atlanta Hawks

If you have not kept up with his season, fans would be shocked to hear that Young was left off the roster. But this has not been a year up to his standards. The Atlanta point guard is shooting 32% from 3 and 43% from the field this season, part of the reason why the Hawks sit at a .500 record.

With that being said, Young still had a case for getting in. He is averaging 27 points with 9.9 assists while leading the league with his 457 total assists. You can still fault Atlanta’s overall team performance for a reason why their star player did not make it, but DeMar DeRozan and Tyrese Haliburton still made it on teams with under a .500 record.
