3. Carmelo Anthony to New York (2011)

Three teams were part of the deal in 2011 that sent Anthony and Chauncey Billups to the New York Knicks. The Denver Nuggets received Wilson Chandler, Danilo Gallinari, Raymond Felton, Timofey Mozgov, a first-round pick and two second-round picks. Eddy Curry and Anthony Randolph landed in Minnesota. 

The Knicks made the postseason in Anthony’s first three years (2011-13) but only made it past the first round one time. The Knicks never made the playoffs again with Anthony.
