4. Clyde Drexler to Houston (1995)

Drexler led the Portland Trail Blazers to two NBA Finals appearances in 11 seasons. He also finished second in MVP voting for the 1991-92 season. Drexler requested a trade in 1995 as the team was out of playoff contention and was sent to the Houston Rockets along with Tracy Murray for Otis Thorpe, Marcelo Nicola and a first-round draft pick.

Drexler and the Rockets reached the NBA Finals and swept the Orlando Magic. Drexler averaged 21.5 points, 9.5 rebounds and 6.8 assists as he captured the only championship of his career.
