Ranking the top 10 NFL players to never win a Super Bowl
8. LB Derrick Thomas, Kansas City Chiefs (1989-1999)
Considered one of the greatest pass rushers of all time, Thomas was posthumously inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2009 after he died from a pulmonary embolism stemming from a car crash. He was the 1989 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year and went on to earn nine consecutive Pro Bowl nods (1989-1997) which included a season as the league’s sacks leader (1990). Thomas racked up 126.5 sacks (17th all time) but played in just one AFC Championship during his legendary career that was cut short.
