NASCAR Cup Series’ best by car number: 10-19

No. 10 (1949-present)
Fred Johnson, brother of Junior, was the first driver to claim the No. 10 back in 1949. However, he only had four races in the car. The most recent success for the number came when Ricky Rudd took over in 1994. Rudd finished with six wins in 196 races, with his most memorable during the Rudd Performance Motorsports era coming in the 1997 Brickyard 400.
Aric Almirola begins his sixth season driving the No. 10 car. His Stewart-Haas Racing Ford has seen victory lane twice in 180 races. Other distinguished drivers to race No. 10 were Danica Patrick and Johnny Benson Jr. The number has taken the track for 1,497 races in NASCAR Cup Series history with 12 total wins.
