Parnell is a standout football player who recorded 55 total touchdowns as a junior and switched to wide receiver as a senior. At 5-foot-9, 170 pounds, he mainly plays in the outfield. He had a batting average of .414, hit two home runs as a junior and will look to finish strong before suiting up Mississippi State next season.
