With over 65 years in the Cup Series, the No. 30 saw a wide array of successes. This included being in 1,061 races with 188 top-10 finishes, 44 top-five finishes and one victory by Speedy Thompson in 1955.
In addition to this victory, the No. 30 has also won pole position eight times. The most well-known and successful driver of No. 30 is Michael Waltrip who drove it from 1987-95, starting 265 races with 15 top-five finishes and winning pole position twice. Another notable driver of the No. 30 was Walter Ballard who drove the car in 161 races from 1971-76 with four top-five finishes.
