NASCAR Cup Series’ best by car number: 90-99

No. 90 (1949-2014)
With nearly 1,000 races throughout its time in use, the No. 90 has seen just one win during its total period on the track. Only one racer, Dick Brooks, has driven the car for more than 100 races and only Jody Ridley has ended up in victory lane. After starting in 11th at Dover Motor Speedway in 1981, Ridley completed an impressive run down the final stretch locking down the number’s lone win.
With the likes of Mike Wallace, Ken Schrader, Dick Trickle and Ricky Rudd, the No. 90 has yet to find a consistent driver throughout its time in the scene. David Stremme in 2014 was the last driver to feature the number, starting 10 races in the season.
