No. 92 (1949-2018)

Legendary stock-car driver Herb Thomas made historic work of the No. 92 car over a nine-year span. With a total of 200 career races in the number, and 42 wins, Thomas finishes above and beyond anyone who has taken over since. Thomas was a Grand National Series Champion in 1951 and 1953, enjoying a 24-win run during a three-year span.

Others like Terry Labonte and Cale Yarborough have stepped in for short amounts of time, while drivers like Skip Manning, Larry Smith, and Stacy Compton have found time with a more steady role. The No. 92 was last in action back in 2018 with both David Gilliland and Timothy Peters getting behind the wheel for a race a piece.
