The Cowboys have been in search of another weapon at wide receiver for some time, following their trade of Amari Cooper last offseason. With CeeDee Lamb getting the majority of the workload this past season, Dallas is hoping they can add more targets for quarterback Dak Prescott in 2023. With Michael Gallup taking some time to return back to his pre-injury self following ACL surgery, and Noah Brown finding success throughout the year, the group can be looked at as a piece away. Owner Jerry Jones and head coach Mike McCarthy also flirted with the idea of adding Odell Beckham near the end of the 2022 campaign. Adding Thielen would give the team a consistent option to pair up with Lamb as they focus on making a Super Bowl run next year.
