(BVM) — March Madness is about to start and the first round of the South Region looks to have some great matchups. Headlined by the No. 1 overall seed in the tournament Alabama, the South Region’s first round kicks off Thursday with the Tide facing the winner of Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and Southeast Missouri State.
Alabama is favored to win the region but there are other teams that shouldn’t be overlooked and that have a history of making noise in March. There’s even a coach who led his team to the impossible a few years ago. Can he get his new team to do the impossible this year?
