(BVM) – With Selection Sunday now in the books, 68 Division I college basketball teams will make their pushes for a national championship during the NCAA Tournament. While some programs entered the field for the very first time this year, a larger number of them have been here before but have still fallen short of their ultimate goal.

Given the prestige, historic players and overall quality of these teams, it leaves many to wonder how they are still without a coveted title. Here are the D-I men’s college basketball programs with the most NCAA Tournament bids without a national championship.
