Ranking the top 10 NFL free agent moves of 2023

(BVM) – The 2023 NFL free agent class may not have had the star power of previous years, but there were a myriad of difference makers up for grabs at multiple positions. From potential upgrades at quarterback to coveted skill position players and proven defenders, NFL franchises have had plenty of opportunities to improve their rosters.

Last offseason, the Jacksonville Jaguars were the biggest free agency spenders, handing out nearly $100 million more than any other team and $328 million in total ($195 million guaranteed). The spending spree paid off as the Jaguars went from 3-14 in 2021 to 9-8 last season with an AFC South crown and wild-card win to their credit.

Although the majority of teams didn’t have the cap room to pull off what Jacksonville did last year, front offices still tried their best to replicate the Jaguars’ free agent success in their own way.

The 2023 class wasn’t exactly loaded, but here are the top 10 free agents moves (so far).
