Kerr Kriisa transferring; Top spots for Pac-12 assist leader

West Virginia

West Virginia has already reached out about Kriisa and will work hard to get the Pac-12 assist leader to Morgantown. West Virginia’s starting point guard, Kedrian Johnson, is a fifth-year senior and Kriisa would be a perfect replacement. He doesn’t play defense to the level of some of Bob Huggins’ former point guards but Kriisa would be extremely helpful to a Mountaineers team that was tied for 216th in the nation in assists per game. He also has the potential to step up as a scorer if given the opportunity and can shoot well from the outside. The Big 12 is one of the best conferences in college basketball and adding Kriisa to the roster would help WVU compete in the Big 12 next year.
