Top 10 Indiana high school baseball players in Class of 2023
8. Eli Bridenthal, RHP, Mt. Vernon
One of two Xavier commits on this list, Bridenthal has been extremely impressive as a two-way player at Mt. Vernon High School. As a junior, the 6-foot-3, 190-pound standout racked up 29 hits, 14 RBIs, 26 runs and 22 steals. Meanwhile, on the mound, he went a perfect 5-0 with a 1.59 ERA and 69 strikeouts. It’s his talent toeing the rubber that has Bridenthal as a highly-coveted prospect, as he showcased his skillset further over the summer with the Midwest Astros. Also a football and basketball player at Mt. Vernon, Bridenthal will put a cap on a tremendous athletic career on the diamond this spring before heading east to Ohio.

Athletic 6’3/185lb build. Tons of feel for a sharp, S/M SL. Confident in sinking CH. @XavierBASE recruit.
