Oldest coaches to win the NCAA men’s basketball tournament
6. Mike Krzyzewski (63 years, one month, 22 days)
Just over a month past his 63rd birthday, Coach K led his Duke Blue Devils to the 2010 national championship. The Blue Devils defeated Butler 61-59 to finish the season with a 35-5 record and Krzyzewski’s fourth national title.
At the time of his victory, Coach K was the third-oldest coach to win the national championship. He wouldn’t be done winning titles with the Blue Devils though.
