2023 Frozen Four: Top 5 NHL prospects playing for a title
5. Matthew Knies, F, Minnesota
Knies was selected in the second round of the 2021 NHL Entry Draft by the Toronto Maple Leafs, and the 6-foot-3, 210-pound forward seems to be proving the Leafs’ front office right by accumulating 41 points (21 goals and 20 assists) and being named Big Ten Player of the Year. Bob Motzko and company will need Knies to keep up his play if they want to win the program’s sixth title.
