Jamarion Sharp transferring: 5 possible landing spots
4. Purdue
While a bit further away than Louisville, Purdue would give Sharp a great opportunity to play for a contender near his home state. The Boilermakers under head coach Matt Painter have a tradition of recruiting and developing 7-footers into great players, just look at what Zach Edey did this year.
Therein comes Sharp’s fit. With Edey’s NBA future up in the air, Purdue could be looking to have a similar body type replace him. While Sharp’s offensive game is not nearly as polished as Edey’s, the offensive system would be in place for him to maximize his potential.
