Every team to start the season 10-0 or better in MLB history
Cleveland Indians, 1966 (10)
The Indians perfect 10-0 start was one of the lone highlights of the team’s 1966 campaign that saw them finish the year at 81-81. Series wins over the Boston Red Sox, New York Yankees and Kansas City Athletics brought attention to the Cleveland squad, but all three of the teams the Indians faced found themselves towards the bottom of the division as the year went on. The hot opening stretch wasn’t enough to save manager Birdie Tebbetts’ job as he was let go 123 games into the season in place of interim manager George Strickland.
