10. Oklahoma City Thunder

The Seattle SuperSonics franchise officially became the Oklahoma City Thunder at the beginning of the 2008-09 season. While the SuperSonics had some memorable moments, including a 1978-79 NBA title, the franchise has found success in its new city.

Over their 15 seasons, the Thunder have only missed the playoffs five times. They have also had numerous runs including a spot in the 2012 NBA Finals and three other Western Conference Finals appearances. Oklahoma City has also had some of the franchises’ most famous players during its tenure including MVPs Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook.
