Ernest Udeh Jr. enters transfer portal; Top 5 landing spots
Miami
Miami is a team that Udeh Jr. had within his 10 finalists coming out of high school, and could be on his radar if he wants to play closer to home. Jim Larranaga’s squad is coming off a tremendous season that culminated in a Final Four appearance. However, last year’s roster lacked size, with 6-foot-7 forward Norchad Omier often having to be the Hurricanes’ main post presence. Miami did just score a big win in the transfer portal by bringing in Matthew Cleveland, but when it comes to the frontcourt, they lost Anthony Walker to Indiana, while Favour Aire remains in the portal. Udeh Jr. would be an immediate fit in the rotation for Larranaga, and out of all the schools on this list, Miami might be the spot where he finds the most playing time next season.
