Haley and Hanna Cavinder left the Hurricanes after the 2022-23 season, and the Phoenix Mercury drafted Destiny Harden, so head coach Katie Meier may look to add Owusu. She would be getting a proven player, and Owusu could become a leader for a Hurricane team that aims to make its first-ever Final Four appearance in 2024.
