Ian Martinez enters portal; 5 landing spots for sixth man
4. Arizona
One program that offered Martinez out of high school was Arizona. While the Wildcats have added guard help in Alabama transfer Jaden Bradley, the team lost four of its top six scorers with the likelihood of Azuolas Tubelis going to the pros and guards Courtney Ramey and Cedric Henderson Jr. graduating.
Martinez could work alongside Bradley in a starting role or could be used similarly to what he did with Maryland as the first player off the bench. Either way, Arizona could use his experience as a floor general. Given his experience in both roles and his play aiding an NCAA Tournament squad, Martinez could help a Wildcats team in need of experienced guard support.
Great performance last night by our freshman, Ian Martinez🇨🇷. He had a season-high of 1️⃣6️⃣pts vs Cal.
