Top 5 NCAA softball tournament regional round performers

5. Oklahoma’s offense

In their quest for a three-peat, the Sooners‘ offense showed up in a major way. During its three wins, Oklahoma outscored its opponents 38-3 in three dominant wins, none of which made it beyond the sixth inning.

While any of these performances could be deserving of attention, none was more impressive than the team’s regional championship victory over Cal when the team tied the NCAA tournament record with six home runs, all of which came in the first three innings.

The two players who contributed most offensively in that performance were Alyssa Brito and Tiare Jennings as the two went  6-for-7 with four home runs, two each, and nine RBIs.
