Oklahoma, other top seeds continue to dominate
No. 2 UCLA may be out, but the majority of the other top seeds in this year’s tournament looked pretty good throughout most of the weekend. That begins with 54-1 Oklahoma, which cruised to shutout victories over Hofstra and Missouri before taking down California 16-3 in five innings on Sunday with an NCAA tournament record-tying six home runs.

The win was the 46th consecutive for the Sooners, and led them to their 13th straight super regional appearance.
Although they lost a game this weekend, the No. 3 seed Florida State Seminoles held their own to advance out of the Tallahassee regional, while No. 4 Tennessee once again looked dominant, outscoring the likes of Northern Kentucky and Indiana 28-4 across three games.
Like Florida State, No. 5 Alabama also lost a game, but came through in the clutch in a winner-take-all game against Middle Tennessee.
