The richest Texas high school basketball players based on NIL
Dink Pate, $80,000
Pate, a 6-foot-7, 180-pound point guard, has an NIL valuation of $80,000 which ranks 92nd among high school basketball players around the country. The 17-year-old is a fascinating prospect who recently reclassified to the 2023 class (from 2024) and will sign a contract with the G League Ignite. The move makes Pate the youngest American professional basketball player ever.
NEWS: Dink Pate, a five-star recruit in 2024, has signed a two-year deal with G League Ignite, he told ESPN. Pate, who is graduating high school at 17, becomes the youngest-known American professional basketball player ever.

Pate was choosing between offers from Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Memphis, TCU and others before turning his attention to the 2025 NBA Draft. The former Pinkston High School star (averaged 20.3 points in 2022-23) has just 13,500 followers between Twitter and Instagram, but his $80,000 NIL valuation should skyrocket once his name becomes a household one.
