Carmichael has been a crucial piece to Oklahoma’s success this spring, and will look to take the Sooners on a run this postseason. On the year, the 5-foot-10 lefty is a perfect 7-0 for the Sooners with a 3.15 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and 59 strikeouts. Compared to some players on this list, Carmichael’s numbers don’t necessarily jump off the page, but his steadiness on the mound is part of why Oklahoma could make some noise as the Sooners begin play in the Charlottesville region this weekend.
